Türkiye's ASELSAN unveils advanced AKREP 1000-G fire control radar PHOTO
Turkish defence company ASELSAN has introduced its new AKREP 1000-G fire control radar, marking a significant development in the country’s air defence capabilities.
The radar, designed to meet the needs of modern battlefield operations, provides full 360° coverage, enabling precise tracking of aerial threats, Caliber.Az reports citing SavunmaSanayiST.com.

With its ability to accurately locate targets, the AKREP 1000-G enhances air defence effectiveness by delivering critical data to missile systems.
The radar’s mobile design allows it to be easily deployed to different operational zones, ensuring rapid adaptation to dynamic conditions. It is also capable of integrating seamlessly with various air defence platforms.
Equipped with an active electronically scanned array (AESA) antenna, the AKREP 1000-G ensures fast and accurate data processing, unaffected by environmental conditions. It is used alongside the regional air and missile defence system SİPER.
