Türkiye's Defence Ministry: 56 terrorists neutralized in one week VIDEO

Since the start of 2025, the Turkish Armed Forces have successfully neutralized 377 terrorists in northern Syria and Iraq, according to the Ministry of Defence.

Zeki Aktürk, the ministry's press spokesperson, highlighted on X page that 56 terrorists were neutralized in the past week alone as part of ongoing anti-terror operations in both northern Iraq and Syria, Caliber.Az reports.

Further operations in the Pençe-Kilit zone, located in northern Iraq, led to the discovery of a significant weapons and ammunition cache hidden in caves used by terrorists.

In addition to these successes, Turkish authorities arrested 140 individuals this week, including four members of terrorist organizations, attempting to cross the border illegally. Meanwhile, 1,799 others were prevented from entering Türkiye.
