Türkiye's Fidan tackles regional challenges in talks with new Romanian FM

Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with his Romanian counterpart, Emil Hurezeanu, on January 22.

According to sources within the Turkish diplomatic service, the ministers discussed bilateral relations between Ankara and Bucharest, as well as pressing issues on the regional agenda, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.

During the call, Fidan extended his congratulations to Hurezeanu on his appointment as Romania's Foreign Minister.

Earlier, Fidan met with Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), in the capital, Ankara.
