Arma II, the first domestic military vehicle with an 8x8 wheel formula developed by the Turkish defence industry, was ready for mass production after passing 6,000 kilometres of mileage. It is equipped with a domestic 720 hp engine.

The statement came from Otakar CEO Serdar Gerguch, Anadolu reports.

According to him, they produced 4x4 cars and achieved export success in 1987, and in 2006 they created the Arma family of cars at the expense of their own resources, taking into account changing needs.

Speaking about the differences between Arma and Arma II machines, Gorguch said: "The difference between Arma II and Arma, first of all, lies in the greater load capacity. In Arma, the axle load capacity reaches 30 tons, and we have increased it to 40 tons in Arma II.

Therefore, we provide greater protection against both mines and kinetic energy threats. We have more internal volume.
