Türkiye's intel chief: Israel undermines US–Iran talks
The head of Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organisation, İbrahim Kalın, said that efforts to prepare negotiations between the United States and Iran are being undermined by Israel.
Speaking as cited by TASS, Kalın stressed the need to establish the necessary groundwork for potential Iran–US talks. He added that Pakistan is carrying out “competent work” in facilitating this process.
“As before the war, and since the beginning of hostilities, we see that Israel, which has sabotaged every attempt at negotiations and every effort to open channels for dialogue, in recent days has once again been making significant efforts to undermine and nullify these initiatives through its attacks,” Kalın said.
He noted that Türkiye has been working intensively in recent days to help shift the situation toward dialogue and to prepare the conditions needed for negotiations.
