During the test, the KARA ATMACA demonstrated an impressive range of 400 kilometres, underscoring Turkey’s growing technological prowess in defence systems.
Weighing in at 890 kilograms, including a 250-kilogram warhead, the KARA ATMACA is a powerful and highly effective weapon. Its design includes advanced features such as protection against electronic jamming, and an integrated suite of guidance systems — infrared homing, inertial navigation, global positioning, and terrain-adapted navigation — ensuring pinpoint accuracy.
The KARA ATMACA is designed to target high-value strategic assets, including air defence systems and both fixed and mobile missile installations. Expected to be fully operational by 2026, it will bolster Türkiye's regional and global defence posture, solidifying its place among the leading defence forces in the world.
