Türkiye's Togg electric vehicle sales surge in 2024, boosting market presence

Togg, the Turkish electric vehicle manufacturer, has seen a remarkable increase in its market presence in 2024, with the production of 30,093 units of its flagship T10X model. This has resulted in a significant growth in the number of T10X vehicles on Turkish roads, reaching a total of 49,676 units by the end of the year.

The T10X, Türkiye’s first fully electric car, continues to gain traction with consumers, according to a statement from Togg. The company reports that the T10X’s popularity continues to rise, with more users embracing the innovative vehicle each year, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

In 2024, Togg's production numbers saw a substantial leap from the previous year, when 19,583 units were sold. Of the 30,093 units produced this year, 5,732 were sold in December alone. This surge in sales has resulted in a 53.6% year-on-year increase in the number of T10X vehicles on Turkish roads.

Meanwhile, Trugo, the company responsible for providing charging infrastructure for Togg vehicles, has made significant strides in expanding its network. Trugo now operates 842 high-speed DC charging stations across Türkiye, with 1,684 charging sockets available to users. In addition, the company has increased the number of AC charging stations to 363.

Togg’s digital platform, Trumore, has also witnessed impressive growth, attracting over 2 million users in 2024. The platform continues to evolve, offering users a variety of innovative features. Among the most popular applications on Trumore is Mode Art, which transforms the T10X into a dynamic art gallery, allowing users to experience the vehicle in a unique and creative way.

Other notable apps include Trumore Gez, which provides localized smart services, and the AI Camera app, which uses artificial intelligence to create professional-quality photos. Additionally, AI Radio, an AI-powered music station, has gained popularity among users.
