Türkiye seizes weapons, drugs during Operation Kuyu-31 VIDEO
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has said that the Kuyu-31 operation simultaneously targeted two organised crime groups in Türkiye.
During the Kuyu-31 operation, 30 suspects linked to the two groups led by Dogan Gezekli in Manisa and Ahmet Dogan in Yozgat were apprehended. The operation also yielded a seizure of unlicensed firearms, drugs, and numerous checks and promissory notes, Caliber.Az reports, citing the minister’s message on X.

Earlier, Yerlikaya announced that 23 suspects involved in organised crime were detained in the “Kuyu-30 Operation” across five districts of Istanbul.
An operation was conducted in the Istanbul districts of Sultangazi, Eyüpsultan, Bakırköy, Bağcılar, and Ataşehir targeting individuals suspected of serious crimes, including murder, robbery, bribery, causing property damage, and deliberately creating threats to public safety.
As part of the investigative efforts, unlicensed firearms and illegal drugs were confiscated. The operation underscores the Turkish government's ongoing commitment to combating organised crime and enhancing public safety.
