Türkiye sets up serial production of TOLUN mini cruise missiles

The Turkish company ASELSAN has set up the serial production of TOLUN mini cruise missiles, the first deliveries of which will be made shortly.

These munitions were presented at the stand of the Turkish defence industry at the Paris Airshow in the suburbs of the French capital, according to Anadolu.

ASELSAN representatives reported that all tests of the mini-missiles have been completed and relevant certificates obtained.

Earlier, successful launches of TOLUN from F-16 aircraft and the Bayraktar AKINCI UAV strike aircraft were carried out.

TOLUN's sensor-guided INS/GPS munitions can destroy targets up to 100km away. The mini-missile is capable of penetrating a 1-metre-wide concrete wall.
