Türkiye signs major air defence production deal with ASELSAN

Turkish defence company ASELSAN and the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) have signed an additional contract worth €1.47 billion to continue the serial production of air defence systems.

ASELSAN, a key player in the development and transformation of Türkiye’s defence technologies, is the largest company by market capitalisation within the BIST 100 index, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.

The number of countries importing ASELSAN products rose to 95, with three new markets added in the past year.

Domestic supplier orders grew by 82% year-on-year, and 103 product lines were localised as part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its production and technology ecosystem.
