Türkiye, Slovakia to sign strategic cooperation agreement
On January 20, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to receive Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico in Ankara and sign an agreement on strategic cooperation between Türkiye and Slovakia, according to the president's spokesperson Fahrettin Altun.
"The parties will discuss steps that can be taken to deepen relations between Türkiye and Slovakia, exchange thoughts on regional and global issues, including Türkiye's relations with the EU," Altun wrote on X, Caliber.Az.

The official noted that the agenda includes signing agreements in various areas, in particular "a joint declaration, thanks to which relations between the countries will reach the level of strategic partnership."
