Baykar, known for its successful Bayraktar TB2 and Akıncı drones, developed the KIZILELMA further to enhance Türkiye’s capabilities in unmanned aerial warfare.
The KIZILELMA is designed as a next-generation unmanned fighter jet, capable of performing a variety of complex missions that traditionally required manned aircraft. The KIZILELMA features a stealthy design to reduce radar cross-section, enhancing its survivability in contested environments. It also aims to achieve supersonic speeds.
Equipped with state-of-the-art avionics, sensors, and communication systems, the KIZILELMA can perform autonomous and semi-autonomous operations. It is designed to carry a variety of payloads, including air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground missiles, and precision-guided munitions, making it versatile for different combat scenarios.
Baykar has developed multiple prototypes of the KIZILELMA, with each iteration incorporating improvements based on testing and feedback.
