Türkiye targets drug traffickers in nationwide Operation NARKOKAPAN-3 VIDEO
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has said that Operation NARKOKAPAN-3 was carried out in Türkiye, as part of the fight against illegal drug trafficking.
Operation NARKOKAPAN-2 targeted drug dealers across 76 Turkish provinces, Caliber.Az reports via the minister’s message on X.

"During the operation, 595 suspects were arrested, and a total of 2 tons and 6 kilograms of drugs, along with 2,889,171 psychotropic tablets, were seized," the statement reads.
Earlier, Operation NARKOKAPAN-2 was carried out. The operation targeted drug dealers in the Esenyurt and Başakşehir districts of Istanbul. Yerlikaya noted that eight suspects, including two foreign drug traffickers, were arrested and have since been taken into custody.
During the operation, authorities seized 95.5 kilograms of synthetic drugs, 74 kilograms of cocaine, and 1,016,400 psychotropic tablets.
