Türkiye, UAE open new chapter in defense cooperation

Türkiye and the UAE have taken a new step towards strengthening military-industrial cooperation.

According to Anadolu, a cooperation agreement was reached within the framework of the 16th International Defense Industry Exhibition IDEF-2023 in Istanbul to create a roadmap for joint activities on business development, technology transfer and strategic partnership.

The document was signed by the head of the Black Cobra Military Supply (BCMS) tactical equipment manufacturer, Ali al-Mannai, and CEO of the Turkish Defense and Aviation Industry Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSSA) Ibrahim Yarsan.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Emirates Defense Companies Board Chairman Mona Al Jaber, and Anas Al Otaiba, General Manager at Emirates Defense Companies Council.
