Türkiye: Unidentified UAV crashes at police headquarters in Trabzon
An unidentified drone crashed into the courtyard of a district police headquarters in Türkiye’s Trabzon province on August 18, according to the regional governor’s office.
The incident occurred at around 19:30 in the Yeşilce neighbourhood of Arsin district, where an object initially identified as an unmanned aerial vehicle fell into the police headquarters courtyard, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
No one was injured, but three parked vehicles were damaged, according to the authorities.
An investigation into the incident is under way.
Türkiye’s newspaper published footage it said showed the drone crashing. The video appears to show the aircraft striking a building wall and exploding, while several damaged vehicles are also visible.
