Some 24 of them were arrested, and judicial control orders were issued for eight of them. The remaining cases are still under investigation.
The detainees were involved in activities within the operational structure of the FETÖ terrorist organisation. They established contacts with key figures inside the organisation through payphones, provided funding to the group, and propagated FETÖ’s ideology via their social media accounts.
