Türkiye unveils new cargo drone PHOTO
A new Turkish rotary-wing cargo UAV developed for the needs of security agencies has been unveiled for the first time at the Paris Airshow in the suburbs of Paris.
TUSAŞ, Türkiye's national aerospace company, has unveiled a wide range of products at the Paris Airshow 2023, Anadolu Agency reports.
Among TUSAŞ developments is a new rotary-wing cargo UAV that has undergone its first flight test in Türkiye.
The heavy-lift UAV was developed for the needs of Türkiye's security agencies. The advantage is low production costs and low risks.
The drone has a maximum take-off weight of 275 kg and is easy to use.
Flight tests of the drone are ongoing.
TUSAŞ is also planning to start developing a UAV with a payload of up to 300kg and a flight time of up to 5 hours.
