Türkiye urges immediate ceasefire as Middle East crisis escalates
Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz called on the United States, Israel, and Iran to immediately cease hostilities and move to diplomatic negotiations to prevent further instability.
Writing on X, Yılmaz warned that the ongoing war is having a severe negative impact on the regional and global economy, particularly in energy and logistics, while also causing humanitarian and environmental harm, Caliber.Az reports.

He noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is actively engaging in diplomatic contacts to ensure peace and stability. Turkish authorities remain on high alert, especially in the hardest-hit areas, and continue efforts to minimise the conflict’s effects on the population and the national economy.
“In the face of growing uncertainty and risks, our country, with strong leadership and experienced personnel, will continue its path as a centre of stability, pursuing principled and predictable policies,” Yılmaz concluded.
