Türkiye, Uzbekistan discuss trade, energy security

Türkiye and Uzbekistan have held high-level talks on trade and energy security, officials said on January 20.

The discussions between Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan also highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in defence, culture, education, tourism, and environmental protection, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The two sides additionally agreed to enhance the Trans-Caspian East-West Central Corridor, aiming to develop it as a reliable trade route connecting Central Asia with international markets via Türkiye.
