Türkiye warns Yerevan against dismantling monument to Operation Nemesis

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has said that Türkiye has made concessions in the normalisation process with Armenia.

Ankara took these steps to contribute to the normalisation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia,  Cavusoglu said in an interview with Lider Haber TV channel.

"But they have once again shown that they are not sincere ... We don't accept the installation of monument to persons who killed our Ottoman pashas and Azerbaijani brothers," the minister stressed.

The top diplomat added that the Turkish side has warned official Yerevan in connection with the dismantling of the monument and will take new steps towards Armenia on this issue.
