Turkmen, Armenian presidents discuss cooperation opportunities
Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov have discussed avenues for deepening cooperation across various sectors during the Armenian leader’s official visit.
Khachaturyan extended his warm wishes to President Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Turkmenistan's 30th anniversary of Permanent Neutrality, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
He expressed hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the Turkmen people. In response, Berdimuhamedov thanked Khachaturyan for accepting the invitation and attending this event. He emphasised the significance of high-level visits in strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutual collaboration.
The two presidents discussed a broad range of cooperation initiatives, focusing on political, economic, educational, and cultural exchanges. Notably, the importance of joint efforts in preserving historical and cultural heritage was highlighted.
Energy, communications, and infrastructure development were also identified as key areas for future collaboration. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral relations and pledged to continue their productive engagement on international platforms.
