Turkmenistan preparing to host trilateral summit with Azerbaijan, Türkiye

A summit in the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Türkiye format is planned to be held in Ashgabat.

This was reported by the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper, following the meeting between the Chairman of the Upper House of Parliament (Halk Maslahaty of Milli Genesh) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mustafa Shentop, Report informs.

Berdymukhamedov noted that the trilateral partnership in the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Türkiye format is of great importance, and Ashgabat is ready to host a meeting of the parties scheduled for early December, the newspaper reported.

As part of the preparations for the trilateral summit, the foreign, transport, and energy ministers of the countries are meeting separately, and work is underway on the documents to be signed during the high-level meeting.
