Turkmenistan president visits Astana for state talks

Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Kazakhstan today for a two-day state visit.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev personally welcomed him at the airport, where a ceremonial guard of honour had assembled to mark the occasion, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

During the visit, the leaders will hold high-level talks to explore ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
