31 March 2026 11:15
Two container ships operated by COSCO Shipping have successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz and exited the Persian Gulf, according to vessel tracking data cited by Al Jazeera.
The CSCL Indian Ocean passed through the strategically significant waterway at approximately 09:14 GMT on Monday, March 30. The CSCL Arctic Ocean followed 27 minutes later, as indicated by data from MarineTraffic.
The transit comes amid heightened attention on maritime movements in the region, with the Strait of Hormuz serving as a critical route for global shipping.
