Two passengers suffer medical emergencies on Antalya-Tyumen flight

Two female passengers required medical assistance during an AZUR air flight from Antalya to Tyumen after both developed serious health problems, according to SHOT.

One of the women began feeling unwell during flight ZF-3062 and was taken by flight attendants to the rear of the aircraft. A medical professional travelling on the same flight then stepped in to assist her.

The situation became more complicated when another passenger suddenly fell ill. The first woman was suspected of having angioedema, a potentially serious allergic reaction that can cause swelling, while the second experienced breathing difficulties and a sharp increase in blood pressure.

The flight attendants and the medical professional managed to stabilise both passengers before the aircraft landed in Tyumen.

Ambulance crews were waiting at the airport to provide further medical assistance.
