Two Turkish nationals wanted by Interpol detained in Georgia

Two citizens of Türkiye, wanted under Interpol Red Notices, have been detained in Georgia, reports Caliber.Az, citing Georgian media.

One of the detainees is wanted in Türkiye for murder, while the other is sought for breaking and entering. Both men are currently in custody pending extradition to Türkiye.

Since the beginning of the year, Georgia has arrested and handed over around 30 criminals from Türkiye, most of whom entered the country before being placed on the wanted list in their homeland.
