Two US Army generals arrive in Yerevan

Two US Army generals arrived in Armenia within the framework of the Armenian-American exercises Eagle Partner 2023, the press service of the US Embassy in Armenia said.

Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media that Major General Gregory Anderson, Commander of the 10th Mountain Division, and Brigadier General Patrick Alice, Deputy Chief of Staff for Europe and Africa, along with US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien, observed the exercise on September 15.

On September 6, the Armenian Defence Ministry informed that the joint military exercises between Armenia and the United States Eagle Partner 2023 will be held on Armenian territory on September 11-20.

The exercise will involve 175 Armenian and 85 American military personnel from the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army and the Kansas National Guard, with which Armenia has had a partnership programme since 2003.
