15 July 2025 15:09
The United Kingdom has named Alexandra Cole as its next ambassador to Armenia, replacing John Gallagher, who has served in Yerevan since 2020.
Alexandra Cole is expected to assume her new post in September 2025, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media sources.
Cole brings extensive diplomatic experience to the role, having previously served as Deputy Head of Mission in Georgia and later in Qatar. Before her appointment to Armenia, she headed the Emergency Planning Department for the Middle East and North Africa at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
