UK prime minister announces £100 million military aid to Ukraine from Scotland, Wales
Two subjects of the United Kingdom - Scotland and Wales - have decided to allocate military assistance to Ukraine for a total of £100 million.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wrote about this in his Twitter posts, according to Caliber.Az.
"I've just spoken to Nicola Sturgeon [First Minister of Scotland,] to herald the success of UK collaboration supporting Ukraine. I thanked the Scottish Government’s £65 million contributions in upping UK’s military aid to Ukraine to £2.3 billion and efforts to help house 6,000 Ukrainian refugees," he wrote.
