Ukraine denies media report of disrupted US drone deal talks
Ukraine has dismissed claims that negotiations over a drone deal with the United States have been disrupted by a partial US government shutdown.
“False. Ukraine-US drone deal talks are proceeding as planned and shipments continue to arrive,” Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi wrote on X, refuting a claim published by The Telegraph, Caliber.Az reports.

Earlier, The Telegraph reported that talks in Washington, D.C. had been thrown into uncertainty after federal workers were told to stay home, noting that several meetings with a Ukrainian delegation had already been disrupted.
As a reminder, the US federal government has officially shut down for the first time in six years after Congress, which has reached an impasse and failed to pass a funding bill to continue its work.
