Ukraine kills over 500 Russian soldiers in one day

About 570 Russian soldiers and officers have been killed over the past day by the Ukrainian forces.

Russia’s aircraft and a lot of other military equipment were also destroyed. Russia has already lost more than 177,000 soldiers, 3,633 tanks, 7,016 armoured fighting vehicles, and 2,722 artillery systems in the war against Ukraine, Ukrainska Pravda reports citing the message of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russia's combat casualties from February 24, 2022, to April 8, 2023, are as follows:

• personnel – around 177,680 people (+570),

• tanks – 3,636 (+3),

• armoured combat vehicles – 7,020 (+4),

• artillery systems – 2,727 (+5),

• multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) – 533,

• air defence systems – 282 (+1),

• aircraft – 307 (+1),

• helicopters – 292,

• tactical UAV– 2,298 (+7),

• cruise missiles – 911,

• ships/boats – 18,

• military cars and fuel tanks – 5,599 (+12),

• special equipment – 304.
