Poland prevents over 500 illegal border crossing attempts from Belarus Video

Polish border authorities have stopped more than 500 attempts to illegally cross the border from Belarus over the past three days, according to an official statement.

The Border Guard’s Podlaskie unit reported over 550 attempted illegal crossings during this period, Caliber.Az reports citing Poland's Straż Graniczna (border guard).

Footage released by the service shows several instances where migrants managed to get past the primary five-metre fence and were subsequently intercepted on the Polish side.

The statement also noted multiple incidents involving aggressive behaviour from individuals on the Belarusian side of the barrier, including migrants throwing stones and branches at Polish patrols.

The Border Guard emphasised its ongoing commitment to securing the border and managing migration flows in the region.
