Ukraine’s First Deputy Prosecutor General quits post, lawmaker says

Ukraine’s First Deputy Prosecutor General Maria Vdovichenko has resigned from her post, Ukrainian lawmaker Oleksiy Goncharenko said.

Goncharenko announced the development on his Telegram channel, Caliber.Az reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.

“Maria Vdovichenko has submitted a resignation letter from the position of First Deputy Prosecutor General,” he wrote.

No further details were immediately provided regarding the reasons for her resignation or whether a successor had been appointed.
