Ukrainian drone strike kills 24, injures dozens in Kherson region
A deadly drone strike in Kherson region by Ukrainian forces has claimed the lives of 24 people and left more than 50 others injured, local authorities stated.
The attack targeted a café and hotel in the village of Khorly, situated on the Black Sea coast, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Russian media, citing regional governor Vladimir Saldo, reported that the strike occurred around midnight, triggering a fire that was only brought under control by morning. Among the deceased is a child.
Governor Saldo confirmed that the injured are receiving medical treatment and assured that all necessary support would be provided to victims and their families. He added that the exact numbers of casualties and wounded remain under verification.
