Ukrainian drones target Russia’s Yaroslavl, Vladimir regions
Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions in central Russia came under drone attack overnight, according to regional governors.
Yaroslavl Governor Mikhail Yevrayev said Ukrainian drones had been intercepted over the city, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
“Tonight, an attack by Ukrainian UAVs over Yaroslavl was repelled. There were no casualties. Drone fragments may have fallen in the region and are important for the investigation,” Yevrayev noted.
He added that units of the Defence Ministry and security agencies were continuing work to ensure public safety.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Governor Aleksandr Avdeyev said on Telegram that Ukrainian forces had targeted infrastructure facilities near the city of Vladimir. He added that all systems were operating normally.
Emergency teams were working at the scene, Avdeyev said, warning that the threat of further drone strikes remained and urging residents to stay alert.
