Ukrainian journalist: Armenia to recognise Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan

A well-known Ukrainian journalist and TV host Dmitry Gordon has said that Armenia will recognise Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan.

"It was written two months ago that Bakhmut won't resist and it's time to get out of it. But Bakhmut is still standing. I am sure that Ukraine will win and the whole world will change after that," Gordon said in an interview with journalist Sanan Rzayev on the YouTube channel of Caliber.Az.

“Ukraine's victory will mean a different course of history. Armenia is under the patronage of the Kremlin. People empathize with Ukraine, but the Armenian government cannot do anything, as it depends on Putin, the CSTO, etc. But soon everything will change, I am absolutely sure that Armenia and Azerbaijan will find a common language under the auspices of the United States, I know about the oncoming movement of Baku and Yerevan, about the role of the United States, and very soon we will witness friendship and peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Azerbaijan pursues an independent policy, is friends with Türkiye (which has the strongest army), especially since Azerbaijanis and Turks are practically the same people.

The number of bad people has prevailed among the Russian people, and I curse the states with the help of which Russia kills Ukrainians.  But I don't have the tongue to call all Russian people bad.

Each of us is born for happiness, not for suffering. I believe that people should negotiate, move away from dead-end problems and find mutually acceptable compromises. Armenia will agree that Karabakh is a part of Azerbaijan according to the borders of the times of the USSR, which are unshakable.

Knowing the wisdom of Ilham Aliyev, I am sure that Azerbaijan, in turn, guarantees respect for the Armenians of Karabakh, recognition of their national identity. Armenians and Azerbaijanis do not have any hatred towards each other, they have a desire to be in peace. It is unnatural for people to fight,” Gordon said.
