Azerbaijan joins forces for NATO-Georgia 2025 military drills PHOTO
Azerbaijan is set to participate in the NATO-Georgia 2025 military exercises, which will commence on April 28 at the Krtsanisi base within the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Centre.
Participating countries that have confirmed their involvement include Azerbaijan, Albania, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Türkiye and the United States. Armenia will take part as an observer, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The purpose of these exercises is to demonstrate the capabilities of the training centre and test a brigade composed of military personnel. The drills will be led by the command of the Italian Armed Forces' "Vittorio Veneto" Division.
The exercises are scheduled to conclude on May 8. It is noteworthy that these drills have been held annually since 2016, with the upcoming edition marking the fourth in the series.
