Ukrainian military downs 2 Russian aircraft, 4 helicopters over past day

Over the past day, the Ukrainian military eliminated 690 Russian servicemen and also shot down 2 aircraft and 4 helicopters of the Russian military.

The report was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 24, according to RBC Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the Russian forces as of January 24 are approximately:

     - personnel - about 122,170 (+690) people liquidated,
     - tanks - 3152 (+2) units,
     - armoured combat vehicles - 6284 (+8) units,
     - artillery systems - 2148 (+2) units,
     - MLRS - 448 (+1) units,
     - air defence systems - 220 (+0) units,
     - aircraft - 289 (+2) units,
     - helicopters - 281 (+4) units,
     - UAV operational-tactical level - 1897 (+3),
     - cruise missiles - 749 (+0),
     - ships/boats - 18 (+0) units,
     - automotive equipment and tankers - 4944 (+8) units,
     - special equipment - 194 (+1).

As previously reported, over the past few months, Russia has sent tens of thousands of new troops to Ukraine, but this has not changed the situation on the battlefield.

In addition, ISW analysts reported that out of 50,000 Wagner fighters on the battlefields in Ukraine, only about a fifth remained.
