Ukrainian missile strike targets Belgorod, Russian air defences respond

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reportedly launched a missile strike on Belgorod, the administrative center of Russia’s Belgorod region.

The attack was reported on Telegram by VGTRK war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny, who wrote, “The enemy is attacking Belgorod,” highlighting that the city’s air defence systems were actively intercepting the incoming missiles.

No additional information regarding the scale of the strike, potential damage, or casualties was provided by the correspondent.
