Ukrainian president arrives on unannounced visit in Brussels
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived on an unannounced visit to the Belgian capital Brussels.
Zelenskyy will meet in Belgium with NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg and Pentagon head Austin, the Ukrainian publication Klymenko Time reported on Telegram on October 11.
On October 11, the next meeting in the Ramstein format will take place in Brussels, and a meeting of NATO defence ministers and a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council are also expected.
Several meetings of the contact group on support for Ukraine from the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance and their allies were previously held at the American Ramstein airbase in Germany. At these meetings, the supply of weapons and military equipment to Kyiv was discussed. The first negotiations took place in April 2022, the last on September 19.
Subsequently, such meetings began to be called negotiations in the “Ramstein” format.
