Ukrainian strike on Russia's Volgograd industrial site injures 10

Ten people were injured in a Ukrainian airstrike on an industrial facility in Russia's Volgograd region, according to regional Governor Andrei Bocharov.

Bocharov said Russian air defence systems repelled an overnight and early morning attack involving what he described as high-speed aerial targets launched by Ukrainian forces. However, production facilities at an enterprise in Volgograd's Krasnooktyabrsky district sustained damage, Caliber.Az reports.

The governor said all 10 injured individuals had been hospitalised and that preliminary assessments indicated none had suffered life-threatening injuries.

Bocharov added that fires caused by the attack were quickly contained and that no residential buildings were damaged. Emergency services remain at the scene, while authorities are assessing the extent of the damage and providing assistance to those affected.

Earlier reports from Russian media said smoke was seen rising above the Titan-Barrikady defence manufacturing plant following what was described as a Ukrainian missile attack involving "Flamingo" missiles. Those reports have not been independently verified.
