Ukrainian tourists escape serious injury in Türkiye bus accident
A tourist bus carrying 32 Ukrainian citizens was involved in a road accident in Türkiye’s southwestern Burdur Province, with no serious injuries reported.
The accident occurred in the Bucak district as the bus was travelling toward Antalya, according to İHA.
For reasons that have not yet been determined, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus veered off the highway, entered a drainage channel separating the two directions of the road and overturned onto its side.
Witnesses alerted emergency services, prompting the rapid arrival of medical teams, police and firefighters at the scene. The passengers were evacuated from the overturned vehicle.
Following medical examinations at the scene, authorities determined that all 32 Ukrainian tourists and two employees of the transportation company were safe and had not sustained serious injuries.
