UN scrambles to secure Strait of Hormuz as Middle East ceasefire holds
The United Nations agency responsible for maritime safety is actively working to ensure the “security of transit” through the Strait of Hormuz following the recent ceasefire in the Middle East conflict.
Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), made a statement on his X account, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding both maritime operations and personnel, Caliber.Az reports.
