Unidentified drone tail section found off Türkiye's Black Sea coast

Turkish authorities have recovered the tail section of an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle from the Black Sea off the coast of Samsun provinceю

Local residents spotted an unidentified object drifting in the sea near the Yakakent area and alerted the coast guard, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.

Emergency responders who arrived at the scene examined the object and determined that it was the tail section of an unidentified drone. The fragment was subsequently retrieved from the water and handed over to the relevant authorities for detailed technical examination to determine its origin.

Turkish law enforcement agencies have launched an official investigation following the discovery.
