US, Armenian leaders confirm imminent start of TRIPP construction

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a phone call with US President Donald Trump, during which they discussed the current status of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project. The two leaders confirmed their mutual readiness to begin construction work in the near future.

Pashinyan also thanked Trump for organizing the peace summit at the White House in Washington on August 8, 2025, as well as for signing, as a witness, the peace declaration adopted by the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

According to the Armenian prime minister, Trump’s personal efforts were decisive in establishing peace.

The two leaders noted that the agreements had resulted in real peace, which the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan can see and feel.
