US hits 140 targets in Iran as third strike wave unfolds, CENTCOM says

American forces carried out strikes on approximately 140 targets in Iran on July 12 as part of the third wave of attacks conducted this week, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced.

“U.S. forces hit approximately 140 Iranian military targets with precision munitions launched by land- and sea-based fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels,” CENTCOM said in a post on X.

According to the command, the targets included missile and drone bases, naval facilities, ammunition depots, communications networks, and coastal intelligence sites.

The strikes were described as part of the latest phase of US military operations targeting Iranian military infrastructure.
