US-Iran indirect talks enter final stage

Saudi broadcaster Al Arabiya, citing a senior source, reported that indirect consultations between the United States and Iran had entered their final stage, with dialogue continuing through intermediaries.

According to the source, contacts between Washington and Tehran had reached a decisive phase after months of indirect engagement.

The source also said that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had recently held two telephone conversations with Pakistan's army chief.

The official added that Araghchi was expected to visit Islamabad either later this week or early next week.
