US naval blockade risks backfiring on West, Iran’s top official warns

A senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader stated on April 30 that a US naval blockade would not weaken Iran, but would instead damage global powers.

Mohammad Mokhber noted that Iran holds a significant portion of the world’s oil and gas reserves, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

“When we control 20% of the world’s oil and more than 18 trillion in gas, a naval blockade will not push Iran back to the Stone Age, but will certainly push the system of dominance into an ice age,” he emphasised.
