11 September 2024 11:50
The press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers has said that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced a significant increase in financial assistance to Armenia - more than doubling.
Instead of the previous $120 million, it is now planned to allocate $250 million, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
According to the press service, the corresponding agreement was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and USAID Armenian Mission Director John Allelo.
“The expanded agreement will cover such key areas as disaster risk management, cyber security, food and energy security, regional cooperation and trade, democratic processes and inclusive economic development,” the Cabinet said.
