Uzbekistan Cyprus agree to expand trade, investment cooperation
The Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Cyprus Bakhtiyor Saidov and Constantinos Kombos held talks in Tashkent focused on strengthening bilateral relations.
Saidov said in a Telegram post that he was pleased to meet the Cypriot foreign minister.
“Glad to meet in Tashkent with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos. During the talks, we discussed issues of further development of Uzbek-Cypriot relations. Special attention was given to the development of cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, transport and logistics, expanding contacts between business communities, as well as opportunities for implementing joint initiatives,” the post read.
The sides also exchanged views on current regional and international issues.
